Miley Cyrus was spotted early Saturday morning at JFK Airport, heading out of New York City with her boyfriend, musician Maxx Morando. The 32-year-old singer looked fresh and glowing as she let her younger partner, 26, handle their luggage.
Their airport outing came just after the big premiere of Miley’s visual album Something Beautiful, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film release follows her ninth studio album, which dropped in late May.
Dressed casually but stylishly, Miley wore soft makeup and her signature wavy blonde hair. She accessorized with layered gold necklaces, giving her look a relaxed yet chic vibe. Maxx, walking close behind, carried a blue suitcase and a large duffel bag. He wore a green long-sleeve shirt, black sneakers, and dark jeans—keeping things laid-back for travel.
At one point, Maxx stopped in the middle of the road to fix the straps on the luggage, while Miley and her team continued ahead, weaving through traffic toward the terminal. Miley smiled brightly and even tousled her curls as she led the way.
This public outing is one of the rare times the couple has been seen together since they were first linked in 2021.
The appearance comes shortly after Miley opened up about her past drug use. During an episode of The Ringer’s Every Single Album podcast, the Flowers singer revealed that before she got sober, she used to hide drug purchases by telling her accountant they were for “vintage clothes.”
She joked that the biggest tour expense wasn’t travel or gear—but drugs, disguised on paper as rare clothing pieces. “My accountant would ask, ‘Where’s that $15,000 John Lennon vintage tee you bought?’ And I’d say, ‘Oh, it’s upstairs… it’s delicate!’” Miley said with a laugh.
Now focused on her music and living a healthier life, Miley seems in a good place—celebrating her work, traveling with her boyfriend, and sharing honest stories about her journey.
