Hiii friend! Today I so excited to talk about Married to the Game Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Preview, on Prime Video because it my favorite show and it coming back soon! This show about football player wife and girlfriend, they call them WAGs, and it show how they live with big football star. Season 1 so fun and now Season 2 coming on April 8, 2025, on Prime Video. I watch trailer and it look so cool, so I tell you all about it today!
Season 2 of Married to the Game start on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in UK and Ireland on Prime Video. It have six episode again like Season 1 and it follow some old people and some new people too. In Season 1, we see Sara Gundogan, Cat Harding, Taylor Ward, Sam Tarkowski, and Ash Turner. They married or date big footballer like Ilkay Gundogan, Jorginho, Riyad Mahrez, James Tarkowski, and Matt Turner. But in Season 2, some old one come back and some new one join. Cat Harding back with Jorginho from Arsenal and Taylor Ward back with Riyad Mahrez who play in Saudi Arabia now. New people is Marc Cucurella with Claudia Rodriguez, he play for Chelsea, then Gabriel Magalhaes with Gabrielle Figueiredo from Arsenal, and Leon Bailey with Stephanie Hope from Aston Villa. It so exciting to see new face!
The preview I see on YouTube and it so good! It show how these lady live big life but sometime it hard too. Like Cat Harding, she have ring now because Jorginho propose to her after Season 1. She so happy in trailer and they plan big thing together. Taylor Ward and Riyad Mahrez getting ready for third wedding, it big one this time! Claudia Rodriguez with Marc Cucurella talk about how they move a lot and have three kid, one boy Mateo have autism and it make them strong. Marc win Euro 2024 with Spain and he big star now, so Claudia in spotlight too. Gabrielle Figueiredo, she Brazilian and want to be fashion influencer, she do lot with her family and her husband Gabriel so good at Arsenal. Stephanie Hope fun and from Jamaica, she meet Leon Bailey when he message her on Instagram and now they so cute together. Preview show party, wedding, and sometime sad moment too, like when they miss their husband because football take them away.
I like this show because it not just about glamour, it show real life too. Like in Season 1, Sara cry when Ilkay move to Barcelona and Taylor sad when Riyad go to Saudi Arabia. Season 2 look like it go deeper into their story. They not just wife or girlfriend, they have own job and kid and dream too. Like Gabrielle want to be big in fashion and Stephanie so funny and real, she make everyone laugh. Cat try to be singer and Taylor always shopping but she also plan wedding. Claudia so strong with her kid and Marc career. It make me think being WAG not easy even if they rich and famous.
The trailer say “deeper access” into their life, so I think we see more about what they do when footballer not home. Maybe they fight sometime or feel lonely, but they also have fun with friend and family. I see in preview they go to big event and wear pretty dress, but then they go home and it normal life again. It like my life sometime, happy and then sad, but they have more money and camera follow them! I think it cool how they show both side, not just shiny part.
Season 2 made by same people who make Season 1, it call Lionsgate Alternative Television. They good at making show about real people. Prime Video say it exclusive for UK and Ireland, so if you not there, you need VPN maybe to watch. I so happy it come on April 8 because it only few day away from today, April 8, 2025! I mark my calendar and tell my friend to watch with me. It feel like waiting for birthday because I love this show so much.
What I like best is how these lady strong. They not just sit and wait for husband, they do their own thing. Like in Season 1, Sam want to open gym and Ash plan wedding while Matt busy. Season 2 look like it show more of that. I think it teach me that even if you with someone famous, you can be your own person too. I hope they all happy in new season, even if sometime they cry.
